I tried Wordpress.com, (Which does not allow email posting by the way) and Blogger and I am still with blogger until we get our own instance of Wordpress up and running here.

So anyway. Basically, a listener can select an artist or song, and based the metadata provided by the Project volunteers, the Pandora player will play songs that sound very similar to the chosen artist or song. Check it out at www.pandora.com.

The liveplasma visual search engine (formerly musicplasma) is truly a fun and useful tool that has really evolved over the last couple of years. Previously only a music search engine, the new liveplasma will create a map (they look like idea maps) from your artist/band to similar bands and music artists, or will map to actors/movies/directors if you search for film-related information. And now you too can win at playing Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon.
